We use this method ourselves - so far it's the best method with a high response rate.
We therefore suggest that anyone who's promoting our product send the one-page Brochure and covering letter, even if one has contact email addresses. It is the BEST WAY TO COMMUNICATE our product. We have tested it over a long time (since 2002), with positive results.
We explain it below.

The MS Excel spreadsheet has two sheets. One sheet ("Brochure") has the Brochure itself and the other sheet ("Admin") is where you insert your Affiliate Promotion Page Link. On the Admin sheet, insert your Affiliate Promotion link on the cell with a web site address. After doing this, your Affiliate Promotion link will be reflected on the Brochure sheet.

Print ONE Covering Letter and about FIVE-TO-TEN one-page Brochures for each company you want to contact. The Covering Letter and the 5-to-10 Brochures must be posted in one envelope.
Repeat for each company you want to contact.
Send these by mail on an A4 (big) envelope to each of the companies or institutions you want to contact.
For Investment Banks, for example, address these to "Head - Project Finance". If you know the title of the Head of that division in the bank, then use it.
For smaller companies ("boutiques") simply address the envelope to "Managing Director" or "President".
It's very easy to find the postal or business addresses of these institutions - simply check the Telephone or Yellow Pages Directory of your city/state/country. Also use the most popular Search Engines in your country to search for relevant companies.
Another great source for relevant company contact details are Trade Magazines e.g. Project & Trade Finance Magazine, Power Magazines etc. Search the internet and your company library for these types of magazines. Also check municipality/city and university libraries. Libraries have a section for stock exchange listed companies - check for financials of relevant companies - you will find their postal or business addresses on their financial documents.
Another great source for company addresses are websites of Stock Exchanges. Search for the web page where they list all companies listed on the exchange.
This method (posting a one-page Brochure) has more "manual labor" involved BUT pays the best dividends - you better believe us! If you don't use this method, then you are leaving dollars on the table!
We use this approach to contact companies internationally. We are always surprised by the exponential nature of the results!

Download below the one-page Brochure in MS Excel spreadsheet.
After downloading the spreadsheet replace the website link on the Admin sheet with your own Affiliate Promotion Link. After doing this, the link on the Brochure sheet will be automatically updated with the one you inserted on the Admin sheet. Check that it works by copying it into a browser. If it works save the spreadsheet and print 5-to-10 Brochures with each Covering Letter that you print. It doesn't matter whether you print them in Black & White or Color. Color ones will obviously look more professional than Black & White ones.
We don't know you financial situation, but we advise that you print about 25 color Brochures and send them to five (5) big companies (Investment Banks/Power Utility Companies etc). Therefore, send FIVE Brochures with a Covering Letter to each of the five companies you've selected.
If after doing this you don't start earning commissions on your ClickBank account, we are going to be very shocked!
We want to stress that this should be an on going process, not a once-off thing!
When you read business news and come across an Investment Bank (for example) that you didn't know exist in your country/state or that you forgot to send the Brochures to before, just search for the website of that company and look for their postal or business address. Send them the brochures (with a covering letter).
Those affiliates who do this consistently will score big long term.
